The Construction Management contract is a collaborative approach between owner, design team and construction manager. The construction manager is usually involved from the early stages of design and provides their expertise related to construction costs and methods during the design process.
MVW can deliver construction management services through various fee arrangements including fixed fee, percentage fee or a guaranteed maximum price.
The design, bid and construct method of project delivery is the most traditional type of project delivery particularly with public sector projects. With this method, the owner will typically hire an architect and/or engineering team to produce detailed construction drawings and specifications for the general contractor to bid on.
We have extensive experience with the project delivery method and are proud that many of our opportunities come from repeat clients and referrals.
This method allows the owner one point of contact for their entire project from design through construction. The owner will hire a design builder who will then provide design and engineering services either directly or through a team of contracted consultants.
At MVW we have developed relationships with an experienced team of architects and engineers to take your project from the site plan approval phase through to final construction.
Once you have invested in your capital project, continual and ongoing maintenance is needed. MVW has the experienced personnel to maintain your investment.
We understand that maintenance and repair often happens in and around occupied spaces. MVW is committed to protecting the public. We have extensive experience working in occupied environments such as nursing, retirement homes and healthcare facilities.

Institutional buildings represent the fabric of our communities. These buildings provide opportunity for our communities to celebrate culture and the arts, delve into the history of past generations or share a commonality of interest.
We are committed to this fair and transparent process. If we are the successful contractor, we consider it a privilege to work with you, valuing the importance of constructing these significant buildings.
