- Your construction management team submits an “Application for a Permit to Construct or Demolish” form along with supporting documents (e.g., HVAC design, plumbing plans, etc…) to the local building department.
- The municipal staff review the application for compliance with zoning and the Building Code. This review process can range from a few days to upward of a month, depending on the complexity and scale of the build.
- The required permit fees are paid; if approved, the permit is issued. (Note: Permit fees are included as part of your project budget.)
